Dear Dr. Rai,
It has been almost 3 weeks since I impulsively booked the surgery on my abdomen.   I have been self conscious for almost 22 years since I had the bowel resection following a diagnosis of colon cancer.    For years I told myself not to be superficial with something so deep and put my feelings on the back burner.   I even booked and cancelled surgery 10 years ago to fix the area out of fear.
When I met you, there was something about your manner that made me feel safe.   I have never been impulsive with my health and yet I booked the surgery immediately.   Today I walked into my husband’s office stark naked and I said “Look at how gorgeous I am”.   All he could say was “wow”!   I have been shy about my body for so long.   Now when I see myself I feel beautiful.

This has never been about anyone else and very few will ever be privileged to see it.    This was the greatest gift I have ever given to me.   Thank you from the bottom of my heart.

Compassion, commitment and professional are just a few kind words I have to describe Dr. Rai and his team. I was extremely nervous coming in to this major surgery which consisted of a hysterectomy and abdominoplasty. There was barely any pain which had been a major concern. I must say I am very pleased and do not even have my surgery bandages off! I feel wonderful!! My husband recently had a skin graft performed by Dr. Rai with beautiful results.
